Sets the strategy and safeguards the mission: a Uganda where poverty is not a destiny, but a challenge met together. Oversees savings, education support and market-ready skills.
A community-led development initiative rooted in Katabi Sub-county, Wakiso District, Uganda.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a meaningful, healthy and hopeful life.
In many communities, people face challenges such as poverty, limited education, poor healthcare, hunger, and very few opportunities to grow. These challenges can make it difficult for individuals and families to dream big or achieve their goals.
We exist to change that. We are dedicated to supporting and empowering vulnerable people so they can build confidence, develop skills, improve their living conditions, and create a brighter future.
We work hand in hand with communities because we know that real and lasting change happens when people take part in shaping their own future. We do not only focus on solving problems today — we also help communities plan and prepare for success tomorrow.
To have a community where people take direct action to develop economically and socially, to improve their standards of living, and to improve household livelihood for a better quality of life.
Empowering vulnerable communities through sustainable development, education and healthcare initiatives, fostering hope, dignity and self-sufficiency for a brighter future.
Dignity before charity. Transparency in every shilling. Participation over prescription. Fairness, equality and human rights for every person we serve.
We serve communities with compassion, commitment, and a strong desire to create lasting positive change.
We provide access to food, clean water, shelter and healthcare so vulnerable people are protected and supported during difficult times.
We promote education and skills development so young people and adults gain the knowledge and opportunities to secure jobs and start businesses.
We support families through programmes that grow incomes and improve livelihoods, helping them become financially stable and independent.
We advocate for fairness, equality and human rights. Every person deserves respect, dignity and the freedom to reach their full potential.
We build unity within communities. When people work together and support each other, progress becomes possible for everyone.
We respond to emergencies and crises with humanitarian assistance to help affected families recover and regain hope.
We empower women, youth, children and other marginalised groups so they gain leadership skills, confidence and an active role in development.
We run awareness programmes on health, safety and social issues so people can make informed decisions and protect their well-being.
We create saving habits, run development loans and welfare support, and train members in financial literacy and business ideas.
Our directorate, secretariat and administration are drawn from the same villages we serve — which is why our programmes answer to real household needs.
